Effective from: July 2026 · Controller: MK-Flightsystems, info@mkfs.at
This is an English translation for your convenience. The German version (Datenschutzerklärung) is legally binding.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) is:
MK-Flightsystems
Rüthenenstr. 66a, A-6812 Meiningen, Austria
Email: info@mkfs.at
2. Principles of Data Processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website along with our content and services. Personal data is processed regularly only with the consent of the data subject or where another legal basis exists under Art. 6 GDPR.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by IONOS SE (Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany). When you access our website, connection data (IP address, date/time, page accessed, browser type) is automatically stored in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). This data is automatically deleted after 7 days.
4. Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
For fast and reliable delivery of website components, we use content delivery networks: the Bootstrap CSS framework is loaded via jsDelivr (ProspectOne, Królewska 65A/1, 30-081 Kraków, Poland), and the Leaflet map library via unpkg (operated on infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you access our website, your browser establishes connections to these servers, which for technical reasons transmits your IP address. No cookies are stored and no tracking takes place in this process. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in fast and secure delivery of our website). For providers based in the USA, data may be transferred to a third country.
5. Contact Form & Email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, your details (name, email address, message) are processed to handle your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). The data is deleted once your inquiry has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
To send the contact form, we use the service Formspree (Formspree, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4008, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). The form data you enter is processed on Formspree's servers for transmission to us, which involves a transfer to the USA. Formspree is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Further information can be found in Formspree's privacy policy: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
6. Embedded Content (YouTube)
This website may embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When a video is played, your browser establishes a connection to YouTube's servers and transmits your IP address. If you are logged into your Google account, YouTube may associate your visit with your account. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Videos are embedded exclusively in enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com) wherever technically possible.
7. Interactive World Map (Leaflet / CARTO / OpenStreetMap)
On the "World Map" page, we embed an interactive map using the open-source library Leaflet. The map tiles are loaded from CARTO (CartoDB Inc., USA) based on map data from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom). When you access the map page, your browser establishes connections to these servers, which for technical reasons transmits your IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our worldwide activities). For providers based in the USA, data may be transferred to a third country.
8. Cookies
This website uses only technically necessary cookies (e.g. session cookies for navigation). These cookies are not used for tracking or advertising purposes and do not require consent under § 165(3) TKG 2021. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
9. No Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell or disclose your personal data to third parties, except where necessary for contract fulfillment (e.g. shipping providers for orders) or legally required.
10. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
