Groundhandling Courses
The basis of every good pilot. We teach you the skills on the ground that you'll need in the air — Mike Küng, world record holder and one of the most experienced groundhandling trainers worldwide, together with his team.
If you're good on the ground, you'll be good in the air!
Understand what your wing does while you're standing on the ground — and you'll be able to apply that in the air. Skill on the ground brings safety in the air.
What to expect.
Groundhandling isn't a preliminary step — it's its own discipline. Whoever flies well on the ground, flies better in the air.
Launching the Wing Properly
Controlled inflation and control of the wing on the ground, in various wind conditions — the preparation for every clean launch.
Forward & Reverse Launch Techniques
Learning different launch techniques, including reverse launch — the right solution for every wind situation.
The Rear Risers
Control over the rear risers allows for maximum intervention in extreme situations — a key safety tool.
From A to B
Playfully walking with the wing overhead — the preliminary step for further moves, especially on the dune.
Feel & Control
Learning to read the wing through the lines — pressure points, angle of attack, reactions to wind and body movement.
Dive & Flare
The heart of parakite flying: controlling the dive and cleanly using the flare energy.
Wasserkuppe or Denmark.
Both courses follow the same credo — just at different depths. Where you start depends on how much time you bring.
Wasserkuppe
In partnership with the Papillon flight school — the ideal entry into groundhandling. A weekend naturally offers less training time than a full week in Denmark, but you'll learn the basics in a compact, guided format.

Denmark
At our home base in Nørre Lyngby near Løkken, we go deep: more time, more knowledge, more repetitions. The laminar wind conditions on the North and Baltic Seas offer ideal training conditions — that's what Denmark is known for.

In the course, you'll get to know exactly the wing you'll fly afterward — the SUPRA is the ideal training tool.
The SWAG stays right where it belongs during groundhandling — close to the body, with leg straps and full wing contact.
